Coconut Heaven and a 5-Star Facial
Coconut Body Scrub
My treatment involved various products from the Eminence Organic Skin Care line starting with a coconut-sugar body scrub, which was very rich in texture, but not greasy. After showering off, my spa therapist applied a coconut body moisturizer; the smell had a hint of toasted-coconut and a light smell of vanilla. If you are lucky enough to get a spa therapist by the name of Laura you are in for a treat. From the beginning of my session, you could tell Laura was very experienced and very thorough. I hate when a good massage has to come to an end.
The massage room was beautifully decorated, with an in suite shower, the massage beds where perfectly heated and the music was soft, which made for a blissful setting. Overall, it was truly one of my favorite coconut treatment experiences in Canada to date.
Eminence Brightening Facial
My brightening facial was a 5-star experience (and I don’t say that often). The combination of the products used, again with the Eminence Organic Skin Care line, included decadent fragrances of strawberry-rhubarb, plums, citrus, naseberry, roses and of course coconut; the smells combined with the massage techniques was outstanding and put me into a relaxed state. It was my first time receiving a lip exfoliation which was very gentle and included a lip-plum masque.
124 Queen Spa is small, so don’t expect a hot tub and a pool; however, they have connecting suites for overnight stays, an outstanding restaurant called Treadwell Cuisine, great service and all greeters at the reception and throughout the spa where very accommodating and genuinely pleasant to interact with, so it made up for the size.

Mar’s tip: This is another “make it a weekend away experience”. Jen and I had the opportunity to stay in one of their suites. The interior design is modern, chic and cozy, with everything you need, plus more. I will definitely be back for a minimum 4-night weekend stay soon.
